It's alright, ミイちゃん is probably just watching some insect in the strawberries. In another moment she'll butt-wiggle, pounce and proceed to hunt that insect all over the strawberry bed. The fruit might all get trampled to a pulp, but your garden will be saved from that one small bug. You can thank her later. (Remember, only Tuna Gravy Supreme satchels. Never the chicken flavour. She won't touch those.)
I can't know for sure, but I think he's trying to get a message across. Something along the lines of "we really need a springboard so we can cannonball into this pool".
