The clear button no longer erases the grid squares of the selected clue. I’d attach a screenshot, but it doesn’t show much. I’m guessing a typo broke the function call.
Actually, I will take a screenshot :). I cannot replicate the issue at the moment, so it might be something I will see in the screenshot that clues me off as to what is going on.
Changing the display language doesn’t help. (It is really disorienting to view the site in English now! I’ve gotten so used to the Japanese-English mix that anything else just feels wrong.)
I don’t know if this is related, but I’ve tried and failed to change the text on the Clear button to Japanese. I’ve changed everything that I thought it could possibly be, but none of them affected the button.
Scratch that. I was able to change the text. It just took a while to show up.
Thanks for checking that out. I still don't have a good path for replicating this. I even went into your account and tried clue #1 on the the current puzzle, no dice. (tried in both Firefox and in Safari, albeit on the desktop version.)
