Hello! I've been using Renshuu for a long while and used to have a large number of vectors per word and kanji on: about 5 per word and combined with the "slow and thorough" setting that resulted in many reviews per term. It was good for engraining the basics, and I don't regret having done it, but I'm at the point where I feel it's starting to hold me back; in the same time I could study many more terms if I focus on less vectors, and using the language (reading, listening) should take care of letting them really sink in.
So I've started turning off vectors, easy enough for vocab, but for my kanji helper schedule I'm having some trouble. I would like to disable the "Meaning -> Kanji" vector while keeping the "Kanji -> Meaning" vector active, since I care way more about being able to recognize a kanji, than about having to think of the correct kanji associated with a meaning.
However, there are no two separate vectors for this, I'm only seeing one "Kanji meaning" vector. Obviously I don't want to disable both.
How do I prevent only meaning -> kanji questions from showing up, while keeping the Kanji -> meaning questions?
You should be able to disable the kanji -> meaning question types instead: from the dashboard, click Settings under the Kanji helper schedule, then click the Definitions link under "Tap below to adjust the types of questions." in the popup that appears, and uncheck the undesired question types.
I don't think this will reduce your review load though: it really looks like the kanji Definition vector is just one bidirectional thing, and the quizzes just pick random question types (and hence direction) every time it comes up for review.

Thank you, that's indeed where the the setting was!
