I apologize in advance if this is super obvious, but I really cannot find it! Many words in renshuu are tagged “Common 500” or “Common 1000”, 2000, 10k, etc. Surely there is somewhere where I can see an actual list of each of these? I’ve tried everything and I’m out of ideas.
I don't know if there is a list with those words, but one way to make a list yourself is to click the three dots next to a kanji schedule and then "Add word helper schedule".
There you can choose which source to pull the words from. Though this will only add words that include the kanji from the kanji schedule.
There isn't a list of those specific ones (as far as I can recall), but there are user lists which match the same idea.
Here's two that you could try:
"The set: JPDB Top 3000 (2 lists) By: kweku9
The list: JPDB Top 1-500 (432 words) Most common words according to jpdb.com. The website separates Kanji in the set, so the total number of words is less than 500."
"The set: Japanese Core 6000 (12 lists) By: 十六
The list: 0001 to 0500 (489 words) Taken from https://www.reddit.com/r/Learn... The reason it's not 500 is because there is duplicated in the list"
