I’m so behind and I don’t know where to start, I’m doing hiragana and then I’m like “oh wait I need to do other ones” so I do beginner Japanese words and it only gives me dictionary definitions so it’s hard knowing the word, it says kanji hint but idk kanji so I go to kanji and I’m so behind on it I have to learn so many things!! Someone please tell me what I’m doing wrong
Dont rush learning , just learn hiragana first and try reading it , then learn katakana or the other way around, they both are easy but kanji is different . You dont learn every kanji and every reading what you need is to learn words that has kanji so learn vocabulary . Don't give up it's hard at first but you will learn. Hope this helps
Ok, what I did was I did one thing at a time until I feel like I've gotten the hang of it. (I personally started with hiragana, then katakana, then the words, then whatever else I have to learn. But you can go in whatever order you want.) And if you do all the things at once it will be hard to keep track what you learn. So, you need to go slowly, dont try to learn and remember all of the words in one day, you need to spread it around many days. Basically just take your time and and work on one thing at a time.
I hope this helps your problem.
It’s fine, just don’t rush and pick the one that you think you are comfortable with.
You can also change the pace you learn new material in each section if it seems like it's is going too fast
If your confused you should start with hiragana and then when your ready you can start katakana then when you do really well on both you can chose to do Japanese basics or words for Japanese basics.
I've felt the same way I realized I should juts start with one instead of doing katakana and hiragana at the same time I'll just focus on hiragana until I've mastered it.
