For context (should it be a bug), I have zero friends on my renshuu friend list, previously somehow found some people friended me previously, deleted their requests and if they somehow got added, removed them and have no idea if an option can block private shiritori exists
(calm down before I get flooded with friend requests, I still have connections in the real world and not crazy)
At the bottom of the motivations panel of the options are several toggles related to friends and privacy, including one for private shiritori games.
Are you looking to exit a game that you were added into before, or that new games are getting started after ensuring that setting is turned on?
Fair enough; in any case, I had no reason to unsubscribe. But I don't really understand the rules of the game, for that matter.

I think I turned off the no private shiritori games after receiving the invite and now want to get out of the game because I got no idea what I stumbled into.
You can find your private games listed along with the public ones under "Games" > "Shiritori". There really isn't anything special about them. People invite me to games all the time.
As far as I know you can't leave games, which I've always felt was a bit weird, but they don't really do much besides taking up space. There's zero social interaction.
PS: I kinda wish games terminated automatically after a certain period of inactivity (maybe a month).
@マイコー By the way, could you make it so you can turn off Inbox alerts for when someone starts a game and when a game ends? There isn't anything in "Inbox Settings" for those alerts (I'm not talking about the public ones, those you can turn off). I like being invited to games, but find those notifications a bit annoying :D
Henrietta2011 - in lieu of a way to remove yourself from a game (which does not yet exist), if you want to tell me here (or DM me) the name of the game you'd like to get out of, I can remove you from it. Or, just say "remove me from all games"
I'll keep the notification request in mind! Currently in summer vacation, which is a huge challenge with work (as kids are around all the time), so I'm not yet sure how much I can get done.
this is the game I want to get rid of and I found the disable button to prevent future invites
