I love having the option to select trickier fonts - it's actually wild how different some of the characters can look based on the font that's selected, but I really wish the lessons would be the standard one since it is easier to read. Thanks!
I've gotten a similar request in the past, but for the dictionary (user font everywhere, "standard" font in dictionary)
renshuu is not wired in a way to easily add this, but I think it can be done. I cannot promise as to when I can add this, but it's definitely a "I'd like to get this done" in my head.

I keep forgetting this also exists as mobile apps, that probably makes things a lot trickier. I think I can probably cook up a user-script to target the unicode range for Japanese characters to get me by on the site, but a proper fix would be helpful. You might be able to tackle it by adding something into your existing function for the daily font shuffle?
