in the translation center. Since when does 休 read からだ? And where does this even come from? Searching the dictionary for 休 has no results, and looking for からだ gives the usual 体 and some alternatives like 身体, 躰 and 躯.
I don't know if this is supposed to be this way, a bug, or an erroneous user-made entry that somehow slipped into the system. What happened?
Maybe specifically a language version glitch? (I think that looks like German writing?)
I just did a search for the kanji and no results even grayed out ones say からだ. I did a search for からだ and it came up with 体 which does look similar to 休み. But your one is 休 rather than 体 with the extra stroke to make the '本' radical or something.
Uh oh. Looks like something is broken. 休 is linked to 体. It might be related to the Ghost Kanji entry bug.
EDIT: now they’re not linked anymore. Weird.
If it doesn't appear in the dictionary, it's almost definitely a user-made term. I'm not sure user-made terms should be up for translation though
Everything is fine but the 訓読み.
The thing with the dictionary is that 休 isn't regarded as a word even in the English dictionary. It is however the root for 休む or something to that effect. Somehow, it must've been posted with からだ and it was just translated from the English portion, in the classification of a word. But 休 alone is just kanji, and the translations in German other than that for all the words concerned here already exist. So I'm not even sure what the purpose for it existing at this point, let alone the mess with the 訓読み.
Odd.
I responded via mail, but since this is also here - I think it is somehow grabbing a term that was originally in the system, and while it has been suppressed, it still seems to be appearing on that one page.
I believe I now have a fix in place, but I will most likely not be able to update it until tomorrow.
