Thank you so much for developing renshuu and making it a free/affordable resource for Japanese learners! I’ve tried many apps and websites for learning Japanese and renshuu is by far the best.
I find it super useful to listen to the audio recordings of sentences but so far every recording that I hear seems to be the same speaker (a deep male voice).
Please can more sentence audio recordings be done by a female voice in future?
This is not just personal preference/desire for equality. After reading up on this, it seems that learners find it easier to process and mimic audio recordings with a similar voice to their own (and I do find this to be true).
It's a hopeful goal, but getting all that recorded and verified takes a lot of time. At the moment, working to expand the vocab audio, and in doing that, I aim to have two voices (male/female) for each word/sentence. It'll take time, and I cannot make even rough estimates as to when it will happen, but it *is* officially planned.
