祓 looks like it has 10 strokes? Depends on the radical.
The stroke order diagram and mnemonic are also affected with a missing stroke.
Interesting character. There are variations of both the left and right sides.
鿆 = ⿰礻友 is 8 strokes (4 + 4)
祓 = ⿰示犮 is 10 strokes (5 + 5)
There don’t appear to be any 9 stroke characters written ⿰示友 or ⿰礻犮.
Interesting. Where did you find the 4+4 version?
