A bit more information in case you need it — JLPT = Japanese-Language Proficiency Test. It consists of five levels, with N1 the highest level and N5 the lowest. It doesn't have official vocab lists, but a lot of resources have their own approximations. For example 噂(うわさ) is N4 on Renshuu, but on Jisho it's N3.
If you play a non-JLPT word, that just means it's not tagged for any of the JLPT levels.
JLPT is basically like "business Japanese". Non-JLPT would just be native Japanese. JLPT would consist of a selected group of stuff, a little more or less, and that's it. Ultimately, it's not everything, but mainly enough to get by.
