oh it dose that for me too, I dunno why, maybe there are only four awake and they need the last one to run the place, idk
I could be wrong, but I'd guess there's an invisible time limit? That's what I've always assumed
I guess that's how the game works???
How the game works, btw, like when it ends. I've been curious for some time now.
I can't be to sure but there may either be a hidden timer or you can only defeat a certain number of monsters at a time to prevent burnout. (Unless you lose sooner by not writing it in time)

It's a special amount of monsters that you can defeat.
Probably it’s just the renshuu workers are lazy,or maybe there tired cause of there lessons in Japanese
I don’t now but this is my opinion
Well @忍者ルーカス that doesn't make sense because renshuu only has 1 developer (Michael-san) and he is anything but lazy!
There seems to be a set number of characters you go through for each stage. For the first stage of Hiragana that's 20. For the first stage of Katakana that's 18. Letting the timer run out seems to count the same as a correct answer. After you complete that set number of characters—the stage ends. It's not coded to allow you to finish the monster you're fighting when that happens.
Another thing is that monsters have different HP values. Some take 6 hits, while some take 8. Depending on the stage and what monsters you roll, the game can end after anywhere between 2-4 monsters. I think it's usually 2-3, but don't quote me on that.
There's probably a few other details, but that's the general reason.
You can track the whole thing from the Network activity tab:
"problem_count" counts down to 0, so this is the last round.
This is when the game loads a new monster. HP can be 60 or 80 (6 vs 8 hits).
Thanks for bringing this up, but I'll need more details to be able to look into it. Specifically, I'd need to know the level to start with, as well as the starting settings. If anyone feels like they can reliably replicate this, I'd absolutely love to see a video of it. I have no doubt that I can get this fixed if I am able to replicate it.
Due to the number of variables that can affect this, though, I'll need to have more details first, though.
