In kanji quiz questions about readings, could a hint button be added that displays a word with the kanji, especially for onyomi questions?
I always associate readings with words, rather than individual characters. For newly acquired kanjis, it would be useful to have a word to jog my memory. Otherwise, it is just frustrating and not conductive to learning.
For example, if the question is about the reading of 誤, the hint button could display 誤差 or any word from the dictionary. And vice versa, if the question is about which kanji has the reading ゴ, the hint could be ゴサ.
There are a lot of different reading-type questions for kanji quizzes, so something like this would not be a quick drop-in. I do think the idea has merit, though! I am pretty slammed (well always, really), but I'll keep this in mind as a possible future setting/feature.
