If there is someone here who has studied/started studying Japanese and may have reached some level thanks to the only renshuu? How much of this is possible at all?

I am doing research for school about learning the Japanese language(N5 level) through the app(without book), so I would be grateful if you share your experience with me.

With renshuu alone I believe you can get very far. This march marks my second year where I've been consistently using this app every single day, and I've learned thousands of words and kanji and hundreds of grammar because of it. I already had prior knowledge so a lot of stuff wasn't new but now I'm just at the point where I simply consume native material and everything I don't understand I ask the community or look up in the dictionnary. I entirely believe you can pass the JLPT with renshuu alone as its learning app, but of course you'll need to put in the effort and practice with native material such as books or simply talking to others using the language.

Renshuu is a fantastic resource, but there's no reason to put all your eggs in one basket, you should aim to diversify your study materials as much as possible. Flashcards serve a useful purpose, but they aren't a substitute for immersing in native material, you need both.

(Also, Renshuu's grammar lessons currently only cover up to N3, so you'll need to start looking elsewhere for more advanced lessons anyway.)

I'm pretty sure there's grammar lessons for N2 and N1, but they're just not linked with the word schedules?
