I'll just give you my take, since I couldn't really find anything concrete.

is "two-sword style" (because of ), so it's more like the technique itself. The most straightforward.

使い is a "user" of two swords (literally). I think it's more casual. More emphasis on the person.

Pretty sure is just the shorthand for 使


I think the latter 2 can lean more into the "bisexual person" meaning (especially ). To my knowledge isn't really used like that (despite the dictionary entry). Pretty sure it's basically the "correct" pick for "dual-wielding" (usually swords) in most cases.


Hopefully someone else can correct me, or provide additional information :)
