掲示板 Forums - Kind of counters?

第一次世界大戦(だいいちじせかいたいせん)

Forums are being weird so I can’t post other links, but that’s probably all you need anyway.

They aren't really counters, they mark order/sequence. E.g. 第二次世界大戦 (the SECOND world war)

Here's another example - 第159話 = Episode/Chapter 159

I guess that would work. 活性 seems to be a technical term (chemistry) I'm not super familiar with.

In anime (fantasy) you might encounter 第一王子、第二王子、第三王子 .... (first/second/third prince). That's one of the other example I usually think of.

Also floors/levels in dungeons/towers (games) - 第1階層 - E.g. 第1階層フロアボス (actual example form a novel)
