I don't know if it's appropriate to voice my opinion as a newcomer, but I think you could develop a Chinese version.Chinese guys want to learn Japanese,too.
Sadly, Renshuu doesn't have one. Since he is just the only one handling it whole, it might be tough for him. As for now, there are no announcements or notices on the chinese version.

Maybe we can use Wiktionary.It's just that we should mark the source.
I've actually looked into this, but actually extracting useable data from Wiktionary is extremely hard, even using data from projects designed to do that. It's just not close to high quality :(

Or just translate the English-Japanese/Japanese-English dictionaries currently in use? I think this is a great idea.
Nah that won't work if you use a translate like google translate or any other translated as they might translate a diffrent thing instead of the real native thing.once I ever translated 一万千三百七円 and the 三百 was read as "san hyaku" when it supposed to be "san byaku"
but if it's using people it might take months or years since renshuu has millions of words and ui's that needs to be translated
as a chill guy i think that the chinese should have an opportunity to learn japanese too. but yeah.. it's quite hard to find a nice japanese-chinese dictioniary. chill guy out.
Not quite that many words, but yea, a lot. The interface (which includes all the lessons) might be 40-50 thousand words, and then you have the dictionaries. You wouldn't need to get all of them translated, but I'd say at least 20,000 of the vocab words to get a good baseline.
This is the electronic version of A Modern Japanese-Chinese Dictionary with Illustrative Examples published by Foreign Language Teaching and Research Press (FLTRP). I believe its quality is quite high, since many Chinese people learn English through textbooks published by FLTRP. I hope you can take a look at it.
Unfortunately, it appears that most of the uploads on that page were done without permission of the copyright holders, and that is not something that I can use.
