Takeshi uses a gun, and he's an excellent marksman the weapons of choice for the siblings are the exact opposite of the parents (the mom, an agent, used a gun and the dad, an assassin, used blades). He occasionally uses a hand knife as well
And yeah, feel free to give that a try! I'm honestly just experimenting right now so I'd be happy to see anything you come up with
