What are some video games that make you nostalgic? These can be really old games, games that you played when you were younger, or recent games that evoke that feeling!
Actually a lot of games
I remember playing that game on my friend's phone years ago. It was really fun!
Some games that I used to play on a friend's PlayStation 3 were Journey, Katamari Forever, and Okami.
Ori and the will of the wisps - used to play in peak corona time!
NFSMW
Halo 3
Half life 2
Super meat boy
Spelunky
Marios bros 3! (mini console/gameboy)
Fly or die
(there's more!)

I tried Ori and the Blind Forest; wasn't for me, but I ADORE the art in it. One of my brothers plays Spelunky!
OHH damn Ori and the blind forest has a little less graphics and less entertaining! While spelunky is one of the hardest games ever. Good luck with your brother finding its secrets
I'm old XD
NO WAY ur old !! someone knows HALF LIFE!
I still have to play half life Alyx ( I think the virtual one ) half life's symbol or rather I would say the companie's symbol ( lambda ) was the first thing that got me attracted to maths.

Oooh no, you are most decidedly not old. And I can say that for sure because I got hit by nostalgia last week, when I found a Linux port of Prince of Persia. And I don't mean the 2008 reboot series.
Also, Myst.
懐かしいね~
I've actually never played Myst. Somehow missed it. I remember playing games like Disney's Aladdin (1993), Castlevania (1986) and TMNT (NES). Started on consoles and switched over to PC around 2002. Recently saw some The Black Mirror (2003) gameplay and got reminded of back when I played it.
I was about to say I'd never played Prince of Persia (1989), but then I looked at some gameplay, and I've absolutely played it
Yeah, Alyx is the VR one. I've heard it's best in VR, even though you can play it without it. Fun fact about why lambda is used in the logo - it's a radioactive decay constant used in the half-life equation.
Mahoyaku and Love Nikki... I used to play Love Nikki when I was super young because I was obsessed with dress-up games. For Mahoyaku, the game was only released in 2019, but it still makes me feel nostalgic. There's something about the music and sound design, as well as the story, that just evokes a feeling of nostalgia. Even the anime has the same vibes despite being released in January of this year...

Oooh!
It's a pretty old game but its BGM is on another level. You should search it. I love "temple of time"
Anyone played "MapleStory"?
I played it a bit, but didn't really get into it. I used to play a ton of MMOs though. WoW, Lineage 2, MU, Guild Wars, Terra, Lost Ark, ArcheAge, etc.
Edit: That BGM is very nice indeed :)
