Hey, I just posted my first forum topic, and immediately a second one for this unrelated question.
I've been learning a lot of vocabulary over the past few days, where often I feel like I'm cheesing my way through the quizzes sometimes, because answering the multiple choice is way harder than having to type the answer out myself. Now I have set my schedule up in such a way that starting at level four, I will start having to type out the answer. Perfect.
However, I would like to do some extra practice to write out the words I'm currently learning right now. Renshuu is celebrated as being highly customizable, so how do I go about this?
Do I just duplicate my schedule, change the settings for that schedule to review only and turn on only the meaning -> kana vector with type out the answer being set? Because if I were to do this, I see two potential issues with this: 1) When I do this, and I answer questions wrong, my mastery will go down for those words (even though I'm doing extra practice!), but they won't go up. This will end up hurting me later when I have to do more reviews for these words in the future 2) Whenever I get a question wrong, it will only require me to give the right answer later one time. Anki makes me answer it right multiple times after getting it wrong to really make me practice those words, which is ideal. Can I make this happen somehow?
Or is what I'm asking for too much? If so, is there an easy way to export my current schedule to Anki and get my extra practices in there?
I hope that someone can point me in the right direction!
Do you specifically only want practice with seeing an English word and answering with a Japanese word?
Yes, I would like to practice this but without it affecting my normal daily schedule (mastery level staying the same). Also, it would be ideal if in those extra practice sessions I could get drilled extra on answers I get wrong.
