These drawings all look so pretty! Here’s a drawing I did recently as well. 
When making this drawing, I wanted to test out using a specific color palette, but I wasn’t sure how to start in the background. So, I decided to draw the whole scene in greyscale first and then add the colors, to try out the greyscale technique as well. I do think the background looks nice.
However, I feel it added more steps when drawing the character, to achieve the same result, so maybe next time I’ll only use the greyscale for the background
